Malaga is going through a period of dramatic restoration. The city is a bustling metropolis that has undergone a true revolution in catering and is certainly a top gastronomic destination.
A traditional dish is the small fried fish “pescaito frito” and no one should leave the city without trying it, the smell and taste of this dish is unbelievable, as are the barbecued sardines on a stick. On our tour of Malaga you will get the opportunity to try both of these dishes.
We will start the tour by visiting Gibralfaro , the magnificent views of the city and the harbour are unsurpassed. We will then head back to the coast were we will try out what is known as” tapeo” the art that allows you taste everything. Tapa is the name of a wide variety of snacks; they are not starters because the food can just go on and on. The serving of tapas is designed to encourage conversation because people are not so focused upon eating an entire meal that is set before them. We will expect you to practice your Spanish on our excursion.
